Kirsty & Hywel's Amazing Italian Wedding

Wow where do I even start with this wedding!!!

I met Kirsty and Hywel whilst I was photographing their friends Hannah and Nathan's wedding, they jokingly asked me if I wanted to come to Italy to photograph their wedding the following year, I said yes definitely and within the week our flights and hotel was booked.

Italy is known for its incredible cuisine, stunning landscapes, and rich cultural heritage. Kirsty and Hywel's wedding in Ravello, Italy perfectly encapsulated all of these elements. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Ravello's picturesque scenery, their wedding was a celebration of love, family, and the beauty of Italian traditions. Ravello's unrivalled beauty served as a stunning backdrop to Kirsty and Hywel's wedding. Perched high on a cliff, the town boasts breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea.

The ceremony took place in a charming garden overlooking the azure waters, creating a magical atmosphere that added an extra layer of romance to the day. From there we took a gentle stroll down to the central piazza of Ravello town where champagne was served and local musicians played some classical, romantic tunes to entertain the friends and family. Then it was on to the reception at the breathtaking Villa Eva. From the terrace of Villa Eva, guests were treated to panoramic views of the picturesque Italian landscape whilst we eat, drank fine Italian wine and danced the night away.

Weddings are a time for loved ones to come together and share in the joy of the couple. Kirsty and Hywel's wedding was no different, as family and friends from all around the world gathered in Ravello to witness their union. The reception at Villa Eva provided the perfect setting for this celebration of love. Laughter filled the air as heartfelt speeches were given, and tears of joy were shed during the emotional first dance. The couple was surrounded by the love and support of their nearest and dearest, creating memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.
